Practice together. Rest together.
Sixty classes a week, three retreats a year and a Sunday community class that's always free.
Four things you'll notice in every class
Whichever style you choose and whoever is teaching, these principles stay the same.
-
Breath comes first
We move at the pace of the breath. If you're holding it, we slow down.
-
Options, not rules
Every pose is offered at least two ways, with props close by.
-
Consent-based touch
Hands-on adjustments only if you've said yes, using a card on your mat.
-
Time to rest
Every class ends with at least five minutes of stillness.
A gentle plan for new students
Week one
Two Hatha Foundations classes to learn the basic shapes.
Week two
Add a Yin & Restore to balance effort with rest.
Week three
Try Vinyasa Flow and link breath with movement.
Week four
Pick your favourites and build a rhythm that lasts.
Autumn in the mountains, on the mat
Three nights of fireside yin, a summit hike and slow mornings. Four places left.
Why students stay
I came for back pain and stayed for the people. Theo's Hatha class changed how I move and how I breathe.
The most welcoming studio I've ever walked into. The tea after class is a lovely touch.
Yin & Restore on a Thursday is the best sleep of my week. Lena has a gift.
Join us on Sunday
Every Sunday at 8am we teach a donation-based class in the garden (or the Garden Studio if it rains). All proceeds go to a local youth charity.
