A short winter escape built around the best odds of seeing the northern lights. We stay two nights each at countryside lodges far from light pollution, with aurora wake-up calls and hot tubs under the sky.
Days are spent on the frozen south coast, including a guided visit to a natural ice cave beneath Vatnajökull.

Welcome dinner and first aurora forecast briefing.
Frozen waterfalls, Reynisfjara beach and our first countryside lodge.
Guided ice cave visit and the diamond beach at Jökulsárlón.
Optional snowmobile ride, then an evening in the hot tubs.
Geysir and Gullfoss on the way back to Reykjavík.
Transfer to Keflavík airport.
