Overview
Dental disease is painful, but pets rarely show it. Bad breath, dropping food or chewing on one side are often the only clues.
A proper dental clean happens under a short general anaesthetic so we can clean below the gumline and take X-rays of every tooth. Your pet goes home the same afternoon with a report card and photos.

Common questions
For healthy pets, the risk is very low. We run blood tests first and tailor the drugs to your pet.
It only removes visible tartar, not the bacteria below the gums where disease starts.
Daily brushing with pet toothpaste is best. Dental chews help too.
