The brief
A tall, narrow 1880s townhouse reworked for a young family who wanted it to feel calm, bright and completely unfussy.
We kept the original mouldings and floorboards, painted everything else in warm limewash and added a run of built-in oak joinery through the ground floor.
Upstairs, the tiny bedrooms were reorganised into two generous suites and a playroom under the eaves.
